The tempranillo grape is the specialty from this part of the wine world. Produced from 30 year old vines in the Valdepenas region smack bang in the heart of Spain.
According to strict Spanish wine laws to be labelled as “Crianza” it has to spend a minimum of 24 months aging, of which at least 6 months has to be in oak.
This is a big seller and a classy little number for the price. Rarely does a wine with this much age in such fine condition come onto the market at this kind of price.
