Amisfield was established in 1988, a central Otago based specialist producer of pinot noir and aromatic white wines created from fruit grown on the estate vineyard beneath the Pisa Mountain range in the Cromwell basin.
A deserved reputation for a classy version of the classical Central Otago Pinot.
This is rich and fruity but also concentrated and defined, with good depth and structure. Vibrant dark red fruits come with earthy dried herb and savoury notes, making this a clear expression of Central flavour.
