A family owned and operated winery making certified organic wines, Stonecroft are based in the Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. They are well known for their syrah - made with the oldest vines in New Zealand.
All of Stonecroft wines are organic and vegan friendly.
This is a brand new wine for Stonecroft. Traditionally they have made a merlot/cabernet sauvignon blend called Ruhanui, but they've branched out now with this yummy preservative free merlot.
It is medium bodied with vibrant red fruit flavours, soft tannins and subtle oak treatment. Matured in seasoned French oak barrels, this is a great wine to drink while it is young and vibrant.
